Weird day today...
Started with rough sleep. I woke up and noticed that I had NO hours in my schedule for work, like at all. Manager didn't get back to me until I decided to drive to the store, and even then she seemed flustered about my concern.
She said something about "making this a whole thing when it isn't" for showing up while she was on shift. Sorry for being worried about my job, which I'm apparently good enough at for talk of a promotion, but not enough to avoid being reprimanded for calling out while being prohibitively ill?

I needed to exchange the foundation I've been using anyway. I tried to save money by using a Loreal Fit Me liquid foundation, which the formula wasn't bad but I realized on an outing one day that it was very, very middle-school orange in the sunlight. Decided just to go back to old reliable:

My original plans were to work on my pro art website at a cafe again today. I make an effort not to choose Starbucks because the company sucks, but after almost crying over (apparently) nothing, I didn't feel like traveling any farther.
Grilled cheese sandwich, pecan crunch iced latte, plus free vanilla frappuccino and brownie
A drive thru order got mixed up and a barista offered me the drink, I told her I was having it a bit rough and that they just made my day. They returned again with a brownie just for me, on the house. Angels are real and they are aromantic-pin wearing baristas
I suppose with all this time on my hands I have no excuse but to get to work on my art career. Ray made a great point recently about branching out into Twitch/streamer assets; vtuber designs, buttons and banners, etc. If anyone knows anyone looking for an artist for hire...spare change?
